The oldest realtor  in the country is probably Ebby Halliday who is 98.

She is from Texas and just finished required classes so she can  renew her license.

She referred to her two days in class as “being incarcerated.”

That’s because she could have been the teacher, and probably should have been.

Here is what is amazing about  this story.

I have another website http://www.realestatewindfall.com  and I’m always talking about getting into real estate no matter what your age, your race, your educational background, etc.

It is one of the forms of investing that you can learn and do and really not be tied down by conventional things that generally stop people from being successful.

(Actually, I believe a lot of unsuccess is in your own mind anyway)

But if a 98- year old lady can get out and sell real estate and receive a standing ovation from her classmates, than we can fulfill our dreams.  That’s even if we’re over 50.

I’m tired of people telling us we can’t.

I’m tired of hearing we shouldn’t.

If you want to do something, do it.

Get the education you need, or whatever you’re lacking and make it happen.

Ebby has done that.  She’s an excellent example.
