Her Last Cab Ride

As I have written previously, my aunt is ill and not doing well. My brother's mother-in-law is now in her final hours. They're expecting her death right here at Christmas.
It's a difficult time for my family.
I know there are many people dealing with the same end of life issues. That's why The Cab Ride from the Last Retreat Blog was very moving to me.
It's about an old woman's final journey to a hospice and the young man who picked her up. She had such an impact on his life that he wrote this piece enflamed with emotion over twenty years later.
