Geriatric Patients Face a Doctor Shortage

Will there be enough doctors caring for future geriatric patients?
No, according to experts.
As boomers reach their senior years, the number of doctors working for and with seniors is shrinking.
In fact, some are calling it a crisis.
That's very bad news for the future elderly, whose numbers should be reaching 71 million by 2030.
Still some young doctors are choosing geriatrics because they want to help the elderly and find the work very rewarding.
