Fisrt Floor Master Suites for Baby Boomers
By admin on May 30, 2008 in Social

How will baby boomers live in the future?
What kinds of housing are we currently planning for?
The answer is probably not surprising, although it clearly points to a new trend. That trend is the master suite on the first floor instead of upstairs.
Why is this significant?
Well, our knees can explain that better than I can.
But this trend is catching on with younger people and I see it as major.
Here is another point about housing. Many of us will probably downsize one time and then stay in that house. We probably won't be moving to retirement communities or the Over 55 areas.
One reason for that is that our generation really wants to be in the middle of the action. We like associating with people of all age groups because it keeps us interested and it energizes us. That is another major difference between us and our parents.
