"Saving Our Parents" is a valuable resource for everyone -- especially those who appreciate that forewarned is forearmed.

NASGA (National Association to STOP Guardian Abuse) is pleased that "Saving Our Parents" includes information on conservatorships. Unlawful and abusive conservatorships/guardianships are a growing epidemic. Conservators and their attorneys get rich off the backs of their helpless and vulnerable wards; and shockingly it's all "legal". When the estate is bled dry, the conservators move on -- leaving behind broken lives and broken bank accounts as well as and their penniless wards. Who picks up the Medicaid tab then for the wards' care for the remainder of their life?
