Boomers Expected to Flood Health Care System

Medicare ill equipped to handle baby boomers The biggest need here is for more health care workers and health care professionals who specialize in geriatric care
Baby Boomers Need You There will be plenty of job opportunities for younger generations as our generation ages
What I'm gathering from the news is we've confounded every institution we've hit throughout our lives. Remember elementary school? There were so many kids at my school, which was located on a college campus, they put one sixth grade class in a closet in the basement of one of the dorms. (Or it was a room without windows that I thought of as a closet. )
The last institutions for us now are nursing homes and Medicare. From what we're reading the government is not ready for us and is ill prepared to deal with our needs. That means we need to be as independent as possible. That will take plenty of planning.
