Acts of Kindness Toward Elderly Being Reported

The News-Record of Greensboro, NC is reporting on local acts of kindness shown to the elderly.
Several people have written in thanking good Samaritans for helping their aging parents in trouble.
Those of us with elderly parents know all too well disaster can happen fast, just as it can with children. Your aging parent can get sick or hurt and need help quickly.
The newspaper is reporting one angelic helper who was working at a Walgreens when he spotted a 92-year old man who had become sick while out on a walk.
He helped the man who could have succumbed to a heat related illness had that help not arrived in time.
It is gratifying to know people still care.
Another important point is what goes around often comes around.
If you help an elderly person today, perhaps someone in the future will return the favor…
