Fat Loss Diet – HydroxyCut Product Diet Pill Review

HydroxyCut is one of the most popular products on the market right now. I’m sure everyone has seen the HydroxyCut commercials featuring men and women in bathing suits with thin frames and rock hard abdominal muscles. This pill claims to help you lose more than 4.5 times the weight than just diet and exercise alone, and lists a number of medical studies on its website to back up that claim.

One of the good things about HydroxyCut is they post the ingredients right on the website, instead of leaving you to wonder what mysterious products you are putting into your body. An easily accessible ingredient list is linked off of the main page, citing its ingredients to be calcium, chromium, potassium, tea extract, and caffeine. There is also an ingredient listed called “Hydroxagen Plus,” which is made up of a number of fruit and root extracts.

Well, let’s take a look at the ingredients. I won’t go into detail about the ingredients in the Hydroxycut Hardcore “proprietary blend” because there aren’t enough of them to be effective, but I will talk about the Caffeine, Green Tea, and Yohimbe.

* Caffeine & Green Tea – The amounts of these ingredients will increase your metabolism, energy along with your heart rate, anxiety level which will most likely to give you a stomach ache and the jitters. Some people like that feeling some don’t. I like the extra energy when I am exercising.
* Yohimbe – There is no documentation or studies done that show that Yohimbe encourages weight loss. There have been studies done that show that Yohimbe may have a negative side effect on nursing or pregnant women, people with high blood pressure or kidney disease.

The ingredients in HydroxyCut are relatively safe compared to most other weight loss pills out there. Many products contain excessive amounts of hoodia and guarana, which speed up your heart rate and can cause palpitations and irregularity. HydroxyCut has neither of these dangerous ingredients, and the amount of caffeine present in HydroxyCut is equal to just one

cup of coffee. As long as you are not sensitive caffeine or have any existing heart conditions, HydroxyCut will not damage your heart the way that other products can.

HydroxyCut is safe to consume, which means that you can take it. But the real question here is should you? The “scientific proof” that HydroxyCut gives for its effectiveness is a number of studies done over an 8-week period. The website says that, in these studies, “subjects using key ingredients in Hydroxycut lost, on average, more weight than subjects using a placebo (14.99 vs. 3.06 lbs. and 12.54 vs. 3.53 lbs.). All groups dieted and exercised.” Notice that the experiments were done on the ingredients in HydroxyCut, not the pill itself. That means that no research has been done on the effects of all the ingredients combined in one pill. Medications and supplements react in different ways when put together within the human body, and cannot simply be assumed to be the sum of their parts.

When I’m taking Hydroxycut, should I be doing more exercise and should I be eating differently?

To see optimal results with Hydroxycut, individuals should follow a workout program consisting of aerobic and resistance-training exercise. In addition, persons using Hydroxycut should consume a high-protein, moderate-carbohydrate, and low-fat diet.

Should I take Hydroxycut on an empty stomach or should I take it with food?

For optimal weight loss, Hydroxycut works best when taken before a meal. As a pre-workout energizer, Hydroxycut will work a little faster and have a slightly more noticeable effect when taken on an empty stomach. This is because there will be no competition with nutrients for absorption into the bloodstream.

Another reason that the studies are not conclusive is that all of the subjects combined a healthy diet and exercise plan with their consumption of the pill. This does not adequately isolate the variable in question, which is the pill itself. There is no way to tell whether the individuals who lost more weight did it because of HydroxyCut, or simply exercised and ate better. For these reasons, the studies don’t really have much to do with HydroxyCut, and certainly don’t prove its effectiveness.

I definitely think that the ingredients in HydroxyCut can help some people in their weight loss goals. Caffeine and green tea have both been proven to boost metabolism and increase energy levels. However, there is no proof that the specific blend of ingredients in HydroxyCut leads to accelerated weight loss. To get the same effects, you could simply start drinking coffee and green tea, and also begin a diet and fitness program.

Hydroxycut was one of the diet pills I tried. Cannot say it’s a miracle – there’s no simply miracles, but I’ve lost 3 pounds with it in 2 weeks.

You should take it as described and cut down on fatty foods anyway.

THanks for the great review by the way, really well explained.

Diet pills will never have the same effect to different people. Since we are all different, good thing is like what has been said at the first part of this article these weight loss pills can be visited to their website to let you know what are the ingredients they have. Here is a sample of a weight loss supplement’s site http://citricor.com/ I have been using this and it never failed me and most of all my friends who also use this. Cheers!!!
