What You Can Do About Alzheimer's Now

What can you do about Alzheimer's now if you or one of your aging parents is diagnosed with the dementia disease?

An article from the Orlando Sentinel states there are some very important things you and your doctor can do.

Doctors can not totally diagnosed Alzheimer's but they can get a pretty good idea if the patient has dementia at earlier stages. In fact, many doctors advise to go ahead and get tested now, so possibly the dementia can be slowed down by means of the drugs we have today.

Also, there are new drugs coming. One of the most promising aspects now is that the new drugs will be combating the actual disease of Alzheimer's instead of just attacking the symptoms.
