Retinal Imaging Test Gives Glimpse of Many Serious Conditions
By admin on Oct 14, 2009 in Health
An innovative retinal imaging test can now help give doctors warnings about many serious conditions such as cholesterol buildup and high blood pressure.
Doctors now know a lot more about you because of this test which is easy, painless and takes less than five minutes.
Both my aging parents had the test yesterday and I was allowed the opportunity of watching the images of their retinas appear on the computer screen in real time.
Not only were the images crystal clear, but the technician pointed out how important this simple test is to internists.
By evaluating the eye, doctors can get a tremendous amount of information, thanks to the new computer technology.
It was also pointed out to me, doctors are looking to teeth to provide a great deal of knowledge about a person’s physical condition.
Not only is this exciting and a welcome relief for a physical, but it may be the beginning of a new era of simpler tests that are not only noninvasive and less embarrassing, but will give doctors the correct timely information they really need.

Sounds like iridology. Many contest this method actually (iridology), saying there’s no way to diagnose through the iris of a person.
