Yes, according to Lucy Cockcroft of the Telegraph.co.uk.
This drug that was originally created to aid Alzheimer’s patients may be sold in weaker strengths over the counter to anyone who wants to improve their memory.

It is a good thing that something like this will be available over the counter. What remains to be seen is the level of real efficacy of the drug and how prone it will be be to misuse.

That’s a very good point. There is a tremendous amount of prescription drug abuse and misuse.
A good drug, such as the memory pill, could also be abused unless we are careful.
