Computers are being used to help understand the ageing process.

The study at Drexel university covers the progressive damage and dysfunction.  Inflammatory and metabolic stress is also being studied.

Fuzzy logic modeling is the method researchers are using.  This may help us understand how our aging parents process information and why they become confused over the simplest instructions.
