Are Amyloids Really Causing Alzheimer's?

Amyloids have long been associated by many scientists as one of the causes of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases.

Scientists now believe amyloid fibres are even more dangerous.  In a new study published by the Journal of Biological Chemistry, it is being stated the shorted the amyloid fibres, the more dangerous.

 

That's because the shorter fibres are very toxic to cells.

Amyloid deposits can occur all over the body, not just in the brain.
