Alzheimer’s test: when should you be screened?
I was reminded recently of the dangers of Alzheimer’s after passing my 54th birthday. There was an ad with a 54-year old woman named Karen who just discovered she has Alzheimer’s.
Yes, it was shocking. Can people that young have dementia? Yes. Next question: what about me?
Maybe it is a good idea to be tested for Alzheimer’s. But I’ve decided not to do it.
I don’t want to know if I have it or not. I do forget things- often. I have trouble remembering people’s names, but that’s what the new I-phone is for. Just google them real quick like by brother does. If you’re lucky the person’s image will pop up before you meet him or her in the restaurant. It’s great for business. Only problem now is do I really want to pay for I-phone service and am I ready for all that technology in my purse?
Here is some more valuable information about Alzheimer’s testing.
