Aging Effects Study Provides a Goldmine of Alzheimer’s Information

You’ve probably heard about the famous aging effects nun study with the Sisters of Notre Dame by now.
It was conducted a few years ago and it has given us a goldmine of aging and memory loss information that can help us all live better, healthier lives in our later years.
David Snowdon, one of the study’s creators, has written an insightful book about it “Aging With Grace” What the Nun Study Teaches Us About Leading Longer, Healthier and More Meaninful Lives”.
It’s just in time for our over indulgent generation.
But makes this study unique, I think, is that it involved a control group that was basically unpolluted and totally dedicated to the study. The results have been massive because these women even gave after death. Many of them donated their brains for further research.
Now we know more about Alzheimer’s thanks to them, and more gateways of learning have been opened.
