21 Easy, Great Tasting Snacks That Will Help Keep You Healthy

You’re hungry and you want something between meals, but you’re watching your weight.

Is there anything that is good for you that actually tastes good?

Here are 21 quick simple solution snacks.

 

1. Fruit Kabobs – chunks of pineapple, banana and large seedless grapes  or strawberries on a stick

2. Vanilla yogurt topped or mixed  with a crunchy cereal

3. Carrot sticks, celery sticks, slices of cucumber and bell pepper dipped in humus

4. Melon  and cantaloupe balls

5. Cherry tomatoes

6. Frozen bananas rolled in dark chocolate  (Peel before freezing) Dark chocolate is now considered healthy by many experts  because it contains antioxidants and iron

7. Angel food cake

8. Baked tortilla chips with salsa

9. Fat-free popcorn with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top

10. Fruit, nut or grain trail mixes

11. Tropicana Fruitwise Fruit Strips

12. Yoplait Cereal Bars

13. Kozy Shack Jammin’ Gels

14. Ants on a Log- celery with sugarless peanut butter and raisins

15. Steamed vegetables dipped in soy sauce

16. Non-fat cottage cheese topped with honey

17. Whole wheat pretzels

18. Caramel rice cakes with peanut butter

19. Dried pumpkin or sunflower seeds

20. Pitted dates stuffed with apple butter

21. Sweet potato toppled with a little brown sugar.  Microwave and serve hot
