Originally developed in 1994, Gabapentin helps lessen the severity and frequency of epileptic seizures. The medicine does not alleviate the epilepsy, but helps manage the seizures and makes it easier for patients to live with the seizures and maintain a normal lifestyle. Later, in 2002, Gabapentin was accepted for the use of neuralgic pain that follows an episode of shingles. The drug has also been established to be helpful for patients who are suffering with various types of debilitating pain and psychological illness. Suppliers often will provide Gabapentin samples in order to help their customers make sound decision regarding the usefulness and effectiveness of the drug.
