Treating Hair Loss Through the Use of Vitamins and Minerals

It’s no secret that many people in our society don’t eat the proper foods on a daily basis. Most people eat much more fast food and snacks than they should. Even if you’re young and thin enough that you don’t think your eating habits are taking any tolls on your body, there are so many ways that lack of proper diet does affect your body systems later on in life. If the hair follicles don’t’ get enough nutrients because of a lack of essential vitamins in your diet, you can experience hair loss.

Vitamin A supplements are very common as long as you don’t overdo it. If its taken excessively, it can lead to hair loss since its not water soluble. It’s not very good to get too much vitamin A although some is required for proper functioning.

You’ll want to consume plenty of milk, egg yolks, and yeast in order to get your requirement of biotin (aka Vitamin H). Taking this vitamin will help prevent your hair from falling our or turning gray. It’s also important to get enough protein in order to keep your hair strong. Hair is made up of 90% protein, which you can find in poultry and meat. That’s why plenty of conditioners and shampoos have it.

It may actually be a good thing to lose a bit of hair when taking B vitamins. The follicles will become stronger after taking these vitamins and be less prone to damage. Whole grains, beans, potatoes, and bananas are all good sources of B vitamins. A, B, and E vitamins are all antioxidants. These vitamins are responsible for flushing the impurities out of your body, boosting your immune system, and making hair strong and healthy.

If you don’t get enough zinc or iron, you may also suffer abnormal hair loss. Being sure that you eat foods containing plenty of these minerals is essential to regrowing the hair you have lost. Red meat offers lots of zinc, and also helps to improve your sex life. A third mineral, Pantothenic Acid, is also critical to a healthy scalp. It helps cells convert food into energy. Hair loss and constipation are just two of the problems that you may experience without an adequate amount of this essential nutrient.

It’s easy to get lulled into thinking that since your hair is on the outside of your body, it shouldn’t matter what you put into your body because it can’t possibly affect it. However, when you know a bit more about how your body works, you’ll begin to understand why the right vitamins and minerals are necessary in order for you to be healthy and to have a full head of hair.Doc No.lkhjsdklsd-ssj
