Respite Gives Breaks for Caregivers
By admin on Feb 14, 2009 in Family
Respite is a break for caregivers.
Caregivers often need breaks because they can become exhausted mentally as well as physically.
A few hours or a few days away from care giving duty can often make all the difference.
If you are taking care of your aging parents maybe you need some respite.

This advice is often repeated but for such good reason. It is so important for caregivers to care for themselves. It not only is better for them but better for the loved ones that they are watching after.

Taking care of yourself is always the first step.
It is not being selfish. It is really the unselfish thing to do for your loved one.
