depleted that I felt I couldn&#039;t go on--but I did--I had to.  
She needed me. She didn&#039;t have anybody else. 

My mom had Parkinson&#039;s and Alzheimer&#039;s, and 15 years of caregiving (the last three in my home/24/7 had wrung me, my husband, and even our children out. 

But love and loyalty keeps you going.
