Putting together a disaster kit for an elderly person is very important.  That fact was illustrated many times over the last few days during the Nashville flood.   Many elderly seniors  had to be rescued quickly as flood waters rose and there wasn’t time to prepare an emergency kit.

What should a disaster kit include?

Medications, dried foods which won’t spoil and some anti-bacterial wipes  are among some of the items.
