Beating of Elderly Victim Is An Outrage

Elderly vicitm Natalie Vinge almost died after being kidnapped by three teens in an unprecidented criminal act.

Fortunately after being gagged with duck tape and driven around in the back of her small cross over car, Natalie's life was save by a vigilant police officer who pulled the teens over on a traffic violation.

What could possibly be more outragious?

Suspect Jeffrey Edward Nelson, 19, rolling his eyes as accusations against him were being read in court.

At least 18-year old Antoinette Baker showed a little more humanity as she shook while her bail was being set at $2 million dollars. My guess is she was not fearful for her vicitim whom doctors reported as having had a heart attack during the ordeal.

I've always been amazed at our strange criminal system which allows criminals such as these to thrive on our weakest people. But I have a feeling things will be different this time. These kids will have the book thrown at them.

But here's where it gets particurlay chilling. Natalie knew at least one of her attackers. He had just sold her a vacuum cleaner a few days before. He had returned to make his trusting customer his victim.

This brings us to the question of how can we protect our elderly from this type of home invasion crime?
