Is it hard for a caregiver to make an Alzheimer’s patient’s home safer?
No, according to a new article featuring several very good safety tips.
There are lots of small things you can do such as adding more light to the home. And that can be as easy as putting in brighter light bulbs.
Alzheimer’s patients need more light. That’s because Alzheimer’s often affects the retina.
Many Alzheimer’s patients also suffer from a condition known as Sundowning. Less light, especially in the afternoons, can make them cranky.
