How Singles Should Plan for Future Elder Care

You're single and you've never been married.
You have no children and very few relatives.

What can you do now to insure you will be well taken care of should you become disabled or incapacitated?
Will there be someone you can trust who will see to your personal needs or elderly home care?
Who will be in charge of your money?
Will you have an advocate to handle medical and assisted living situations?
Fortunately there are lots of options for you. The Pittsburgh Post Gazette has some good answers which mention several ways you can stay in control of your destiny as you reach your later years.
One option is to get a geriatric-care manager or geriatric specialist.
