What are some of the biggest concerns facing caregivers as they strive to take care of their aging parents?

Recently a group of six baby boomer caregivers discussed the main issues on everyone's mind.

1. Making sure their parents are not taken advantage of. 

That's a tall order when your aging parent is lonely and trusting and will let just about anyone in.  There are lots of scams and bad business deals which target the elderly.  

2. Their aging parents' extreme concern for their children's safety.

When you're 55, you really don't need your 85-year-old mom checking in on your every move.  But most caregivers will tell you elderly  parents are terrified of losing their children.  A translation of that is if anything happens to you who will take such good care of them?

Other issues facing caregivers are privacy if your aging parents live with you, and finding more free time.
