Aging Parents Who Lose Adult Children

Some aging parents are now experiencing the heart wrenching grief of losing an adult child.
We all know it's not supposed to happen that way.
Children are supposed to outlive their parents.
However, as more people are reaching their 80's and beyond the probability of losing a middle aged child can become more of a reality.
Another problem is middle aged baby boomers may not live as long as their parents because of the obesity epidemic.
Here's an interesting article by Gail Rosenblum from the Minneapolis Star Tribune about several aging parents and how they deal with such devastating loss.
