How to Deal with Your Aging Parents’ Anxiety

The Washington Post has a piece about a care giving daughter who is having to deal with her 78-year-old mom’s agoraphobia.
The problem is that the mom will not leave her house and refuses to visit the daughter and grandchildren who live only a few hours away.
The caregiver daughter doesn’t know what to do in this situation and is contemplating turning all the responsibility over to her unmarried sister. ( A big mistake, I might add.)
