How to Talk to Your Aging Parents
By admin on Jan 31, 2008 in Family
Having difficulty communicating with your parents is probably nothing new.
But now that they’re older there are important things you need to discuss such as driving, and finances.
Do they still view you in the child role?
Are you finding yourself sometimes treating them like children, partially because they sometimes act like children?
A new program called the 40-70 Rule helps the children of aging seniors address these issues. The name comes from people who have reached age 40 and need to start talking to their parents who are generally around 70.
The program is a very good tool and we’d like to see it spread.
