How to Avoid Many Aches and Pains of Old Age
By admin on Jan 11, 2008 in Health

Is it really possible to cut aging illnesses and injuries by 50 percent?
Can you stall weakness, sore joints and poor balance by 70 percent?
Chris Crowley,70, and Dr. Henry Lodge say you can in their new book, Younger Next Year:A Guide to Living Like 50 Until You’re 80 and Beyond.
So how do they say you can do it?
Diet and exercise.
But this is not your typical how to be healthy book. Its twist is the concentration on attitude and how what we think relates to our health.
We can actually make ourselves sick or well, depending on what we think about. This is probably the main reason many people go down shortly after retiring. They quit too soon, according to Crowley and Lodge.
Probably one of the book’s biggest points is you don’t get tired because of too much activity and exercise. You grow tired because you haven’t had enough. And that makes you grow old before your time.

One problem I see with the elderly is back pain. Although there will certainly be degenerative changes in the joints of this population, the majority of the pain people experience is related to muscle imbalances. Your readers may find some help at http://www.eraseyourbackpain.com
